Frances L. Blair

Born in West Texas, Frances graduated with honors in philosophy from Trinity University in San Antonio. She earned her juris doctor at Duke University School of Law in North Carolina. Upon graduation, Frances clerked for the Honorable Harry Lee Hudspeth, Chief Judge of the Western District of Texas. Frances has worked on both sides of the bar, although she began her career in defense. Frances enjoys helping people solve their legal problems whether in court or in the office. She has represented clients in the areas of juvenile law, child support, termination of parental rights, estate litigation, and criminal defense. She also loves working as guardian ad litem.

Frances is a member of the Chippewa County Bar Association, and Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Frances and her husband have called the Chippewa Valley their home for the past eighteen years. Together, they are raising their children on a small hobby farm. When not practicing law, Frances spends her winters reading biographies and cooking spicy food. She and her family enjoy Wisconsin’s beautiful summers by hiking, kayaking, and riding horses.
