Charles G. Norseng, Retired

Charles was a long-time attorney with Wiley Law, S.C. and is now retired from active legal practice.

He was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin and the US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin in 1972.

A native of Chippewa Falls, Charles was born in August 1945 to Marshall Norseng, a teacher/lawyer/judge, and Mary Norseng, a registered nurse. In 1967, he graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin and served in the US Army. Then he went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1972.
 
Charles was a Chippewa County Court Commissioner from 1982 - 2018 and was selected in 2000 to be one of the Charter Fellows of the Wisconsin Law Foundation in recognition of his service, both to the bar and to his community. Charles was also an "A" rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, described as "an attorney for the common man".

Charles has always believed in the small town values of honesty, sincerity, and hard work. He spent his legal career solving problems first and litigating only if absolutely necessary, always striving to provide honest, sincere, high-quality legal service at a reasonable price to improve the life of each and every one of his clients. The firm and his many clients over the years thank Charles for his exemplary service and example and wish him a fulfilling, well-deserved retirement as he enjoys time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
